August 27, 2018 As an island city, Alameda is particularly vulnerable to sea level rise, and at the same time it faces the challenges caused by greenhouse gas emissions. The City of Alameda is developing a Climate Action and Resiliency Plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and address climate impacts like increased flooding.
