January 20, 2022 The Community of Harbor Bay Isle has coordinated with the City of Alameda to lower both lagoon systems on the following dates: March 28 – April 1, 2022 (with alternate/rain dates of April 18 – 22) This is an opportunity for all lagoon homeowners to inspect their docks and curb walls for any needed repair and maintenance; it will also allow any necessary clean up along the curb wall. The City Council approved $75,000 this fiscal year to build one or two new dog parks to meet this need. Shoreline Park Pathway Temporarily Closed For Construction

Shoreline Park Pathway Temporarily Closed For Construction May 4, 2021 A portion of the Shoreline Park pathway is being temporarily closed for construction. The City is making repairs to the shoreline where it is eroding adjacent to the pathway. It will start the week on May 10th and take approximately seven days to complete. There will be a bicycle/pedestrian detour of the trail between Avington Road to just past Brunswick Road.

Corica Park’s Entrance Renovation

April 27, 2021 Corica Park’s Entrance Renovation Greenway Golf Associates, the operator of Corica Park, wants to improve the entrance to the park by transforming the fire tower into an art installation and landscaping the area. Greenway will cover all costs associated with this project. Greenway’s current lease does not include the entry at Island Drive and Clubhouse Memorial Road.
