In Headlands, the Association owns and maintains the community’s common areas, including:

• The front entrance

• Two pathways leading to the San Francisco Bay

• A pathway connecting to Woodbridge Bay Estates Association

• Curb strips throughout the neighborhood

These areas are maintained by the Association to preserve the community’s appearance and accessibility.

All exterior modifications in Headlands require prior approval from the Architectural Committee.

• Homeowners must complete an Architectural Application and receive written approval before any work begins.

• Please refer to CC&Rs, Article 5.6.2.1, and the Headlands Architectural Rules & Standards for specific requirements and guidelines.

The Headlands borders the San Francisco Bay, and features a scenic walking path with panoramic views of San Francisco.

All streets within Headlands are City of Alameda streets.

Residents of Headlands are asked to control their pets to prevent disturbing neighbors.

• Persistent or prolonged barking, howling, or unusual noises violates Alameda Municipal Code Section 7-3.10.

• Any such violation is also considered a violation of Section 4-10.5 and is subject to the penalties outlined in Section 4-10.12 of the Alameda Municipal Code.

If you are interested in joining a committee, please contact your Association Manager.

• Typically held at 6:00 PM on the 3rd Tuesday of every other month, starting in March.
• Homeowners should watch for the meeting sign at the front entry, check the Community Calendar, or call the Community Offices for confirmation.
• The Annual Membership Meeting is held in August.
• All owners are welcome to attend.
