The Community of Harbor Bay Isle lagoon will undergo a series of flushing. The City of Alameda Department of Public Works and CHBI have agreed to flush the lagoon system based on the extreme low tides, August 7 through August 11, 2017. The lagoon system will be refilled during the afternoon tides each day. This process will help cool down the water and elevate the oxygen levels in the water.
Please note that there are no further lagoon lowering dates scheduled for 2017.
