Click here for the official notification to the City of Alameda regarding the Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRMs). This information has not been published in the Federal Register however, per the letter, the flood plain maps will become effective December 21, 2018.
Viewing the 2015 Proposed Alameda FIRMs
The proposed maps from 2015 can be found by visiting: https://msc.fema.gov/portal/home
- Type “Alameda” in the search bar.
- On the next screen, click on the “Show ALL Products” box on the right hand side of the screen.
- On the next screen, click on “Pending Product (16)” and then “FIRM Panels (12)” below it to see a full list of the proposed flood maps.
