The Community of Harbor Bay Isle will be hosting the 27th Annual Tillman Picnic on Saturday, September 16, 2017 from noon to 4pm at Tillman Park (Kofman Parkway & Aughinbaugh Way). There will be fun activities and games for all, including a petting zoo, face painting, a Star Wars bounce house, and appearances by Darth Vader and a Jedi. Also, hop aboard Clementine, the mobile cockpit from the USS Hornet. Musical entertainment will be provided by DJ Dave Stebbins. The Food Court will offer a variety of treats including hot dogs, pizza, Chinese food, empanadas, and BBQ pork sliders. This community event benefits the Alameda Midway Shelter – monetary donations as well as donations of unused hotel toiletries are always welcome.
