Homeowners in Seastrand enjoy the privilege of being part of the most exclusive neighborhood in the CHBIOA. The Association maintains the mailbox strips, the portions of common area adjacent to the two paths leading to the City path behind the homes, as well as the rear yard wrought iron fence and retaining wall. Maintenance of wood fences is the responsibility of the homeowner using the fence, while fences shared between neighbors are jointly maintained. Front and rear yard upkeep is the responsibility of each homeowner. For complete guidelines, please consult the Seastrand Architectural Rules.

The land directly behind Seastrand homes is maintained by the City of Alameda. For maintenance concerns regarding this area, contact the City of Alameda Parks and Recreation Department at (510) 773‑3889 or submit a request through seeclickfix.com.

• Individual unit trash pick-up is the responsibility of each resident.

• The Association has been granted a deferment from the Alameda Recycling Green Waste Program.

Residents are encouraged to park their vehicles in their garages rather than in driveways or on the street. Doing so keeps streets clear for early morning City of Alameda street sweeping, reduces the risk of vehicle accidents, ensures convenient parking for visitors, and helps maintain a more attractive and orderly Association.

• Board meetings are held at 6:30 PM on the 2nd Wednesday of the month, quarterly. 

• Homeowners should watch for meeting signs posted throughout the Association, check the online Community Calendar, or call the Community Offices for confirmation.

• The Annual Membership Meeting is held in May.

• All homeowners are welcome to attend.
