Maintenance responsibilities in Sandpiper Cove include all common landscape areas. The Association takes care of planting and maintaining the ground cover in the curb strip areas owned by the City of Alameda, while the City is responsible for the trees in those areas. Other maintenance components managed by the Association include lighting in the park, tot lot play equipment, benches, asphalt bike and walking paths within the park, and the concrete walkways in the three common-area pass-throughs at the ends of Hampton Court, Brighton Court, and Cheswick Court.

Residents are encouraged to park their vehicles in their garages rather than in driveways or on the street. Doing so keeps streets clear for early morning City of Alameda street sweeping, reduces the risk of vehicle accidents, ensures convenient parking for visitors, and helps maintain a more attractive and orderly Association.

• Board meetings are held at 6:30 PM, on the 2nd Wednesday of every other month, starting in January.

• Homeowners should watch for meeting signs posted throughout the Association, check the online Community Calendar, or call the Community Offices for confirmation.

• The Annual Membership Meeting is held in September.

• All homeowners are welcome to attend.
