For Pelican Bay Homeowners & Residents

• Front yard maintenance is the responsibility of each homeowner (CC&Rs, Article 3.30). Homeowners are encouraged to keep their front yards consistently maintained to enhance the neighborhood’s appearance.

• The Association maintains the following common areas:

  • The park behind Killybegs and Cork Road

  • The asphalt bike path and landscaping behind Justin Circle, adjacent to the school

  • Small curb strips throughout the community

• If any Association-maintained area requires repair or attention, residents should contact the Association Manager.

Residents of Pelican Bay are asked to control their pets to prevent disturbing neighbors.

• Persistent or prolonged barking, howling, or unusual noises violates Alameda Municipal Code Section 7-3.10.

• Any such violation is also considered a violation of Section 4-10.5 and is subject to the penalties outlined in Section 4-10.12 of the Alameda Municipal Code.

• All homeowners are required by the CC&Rs to park their vehicles in their garage, driveway, or designated parking areas.

• Since the City of Alameda owns the streets within Pelican Bay, any abandoned, commercial, or recreational vehicles parked in violation of City Parking Codes should be reported to the Alameda Police Department  at (510) 748‑4508.

• Board meetings are held at 6:30 PM on the 3rd Tuesday of every other month, starting in January.

• Homeowners should watch for meeting signs posted throughout the Association, check the online Community Calendar, or call the Community Offices for confirmation.

• The Annual Membership Meeting is held in April.

• All homeowners are welcome to attend.
