Community Center Rentals

The Community Center is located at 3195 Mecartney Road.

  • Rental Eligibility:

    • Available only to residents of the Community of Harbor Bay Isle.

    • Rentals are for non-business related special events.

    • Only one event is scheduled per day.

    • Event end times: 10:00 PM on Saturdays, 8:00 PM on Sundays.

  • Application & Approval:

    • A rental application must be completed and approved by the Executive Director before confirmation.

    • Additional conditions may include event insurance and private security, at the discretion of the Executive Director.

  • Kitchen Use:

    • Any renter bringing food and/or drink into the Community Center must pay the kitchen fee, even if the items are not prepared on-site.

  • Community Center Features:

    • Modern, spacious kitchen with:

      • 2 conventional ovens

      • Microwave warming drawer

      • Gas range

      • Refrigerator/freezer

      • Commercial coffee maker

      • Ice maker

    • Kitchen can be closed off from the main room to reduce noise and distractions.

  • Rental Amenities Included:

    • Use of the kitchen

    • 16 rectangular tables (seating up to 8 each)

    • 96 folding chairs

Rates

  • Homeowner  – $650
  • Commercial  – $1,000
  • Non-Profit  – $250

A refundable $1,000 deposit is required for all room rentals.

There will be a cancellation fee applied to rentals canceled within three weeks of a scheduled event as noted by time period below:

Rental Agreement

  • Insurance & Liability:

    • All renters must agree to the Hold Harmless clause in the Community of Harbor Bay Isle Owners’ Association, Inc. Community Center Rental Agreement.

    • Proof of insurance is required, with the Community named as additionally insured.

    • A one-day event policy must be obtained and submitted along with the rental payment and agreement as a complete package to be retained on file.
