Community of Harbor Bay Isle Architectural Services

 

Our dedicated and knowledgeable Architectural Committee Volunteers and the Architectural Administrator oversee the architectural application process to ensure adherence to the original design theme of an urban forest here at Harbor Bay Isle. Homeowners work through the Architectural Administrator, with the architectural committees, to maintain an aesthetically pleasing living environment.

Adherence to the original design promotes the Association's goal of maintaining and enhancing property values for its residents.

The architectural application process is explained in detail in a separate handbook entitled the Architectural Review Handbook. Generally stated, you are required to submit an application for approval whenever any work is performed on the exterior of your home. A copy of the handbook and application can be obtained from our Community office by calling Christina Hanson, Architectural Administrator, at 865-3363 ext. 348; or e-mail CHanson@HarborBay.org.

The Architectural Administrator is able to provide answers to questions regarding landscape/hardscape installations as they relate to the architectural application process. We also offer guidance and assistance to residents throughout the application process. Helpful hints such as what types of plants fare well on Alameda soil, to color palettes, building codes, and rules and regulations can also be gained.
