Welcome to Sandpiper Cove Homeowners' Association
Sandpiper Cove Homeowners' Association is a Planned Unit Development with 252 single-family homes, a park and tot lot and various common areas. Association Maintenance Responsibility Maintenance responsibilities include all common landscape areas. The Association plants and maintains the ground cover in the curb strip areas owned by the City of Alameda. The City is responsible for the trees in the curb strip areas. Other maintenance components include lighting in the park, tot lot play equipment, benches, asphalt bike/walking paths in the park and concrete walks in the three common area pass throughs located at the end of Hampton Court, Brighton Court and Cheswick Court. Amenities The Association is very proud of the play equipment and sand box in the Sandpiper Cove Park located along Avington Road and Roxburg Lane. Resident's are encouraged to use and enjoy these great family facilities. Committees The Association has an active Landscape/Project Architectural Committee (PAC) that works with the Community Architectural Committee (CAC) to review and approve applications submitted for additions or changes to a structure or lot. Owners are encouraged to volunteer to serve on a committee. If you are interested, please contact the office. To comply with Board responsibilities set forth in the CC&Rs, the Board of Directors and PAC and Landscape Committee members regularly inspect the Project to insure that the common areas are maintained in a manner to protect the value of the residences in Sandpiper Cove. Private residences are also viewed and owners are notified if their property appears to require maintenance of either the building or grounds.
