Baywood Village Homeowners' Association is a Planned Unit Development, townhouse project with 239 single family, attached and detached homes.
Association Maintenance Responsibility
The Association's on-site staff maintains the exteriors of the homes including but not limited to painting, roof repair and replacement, trim painting and replacement, address post lighting, garage lights and common area pole lights. In addition, the Association maintains all common area landscaping, private roads and walkways. Owners are responsible for all exterior doors, windows, garage doors and maintenance within their patio areas. Mailboxes are located in kiosks throughout the property and maintained by the Association. Owners are responsible for their mailbox keys.
Individual unit trash pick-up is the responsibility of each resident. The Association has been granted a deferment from the Alameda Recycling Green Waste Program.
Each home has a two car garage and owners must park two vehicles in the garage. All on-site parking spaces are for guests and owners with parking permits. Owners with more than two cars may purchase parking permits at the Community office. Residents may obtain parking permission for overnight guests by calling (510) 287-9200 (24 hrs.) Refer to Baywood's Parking Rules for detailed information.
Amenities include a swimming pool and spa open year round and acres of green-belt throughout the project. Replacement pool keys are available, for a cost, at the Community office. Refer to Baywood's Pool Rules for detailed information.
Committees Owners are encouraged to participate on one of the many Association committees: Landscape Committee, Pool Committee and Project Architectural Committee. Call if you are interested in joining.
